While I'm Away For The Weekend..
Someone is getting baptised!!
Congratulations Terry! ..he's gettin baptised!! I forsee that he will be held down underwater for a LONG LONG time.. Hahahahaha.. . :P hehhehe.... but really, congrats!
Car...
As I leave for Genting, my car will be sent to the mechanics and will remain there for a week or so.. 'refurbishing'.. hehehe..my car will look pretty...!

Of Shell & Awana :P
8:30AM Telephone Interview With Shell
(Equivalent to Face-to-Face Interview)
The telephone interview with Shell lasted for about half an hour. Lots of questions were asked. Including these:
1. What do you think of the National Park?
2. Can you name some advantages of the National Park?
3. What about the disadvantages of the National Park?
Apart from these 3 questions, I believe I've done fairly well. Hehehe..For the 3 questions above..urm..I think I crapped my way through .. hehehe..
Anyways.. I guess I'll be working with J&J for sure adi. :) Why not Shell since it's a bigger company?
1. I doubt I'll make it pass the benchmark they've set.
2. Even if I did pass the 1st stage interview, I'll still need to wait till their recruitment day for another intervew...(Will be starting work with J&J next mth..no time to wait)
3. Even if there's enough time, I doubt I'll make it pass the final stage. :) hehehehe
After all that is said.. things will be like that...UNLESS God plans otherwise. But I do think that the J&J job is the one.
Away For The Weekend
I'll be in Awana this Saturday and Sunday with cell members for a cell retreat. Guitar class this Sunday is cancelled since Andy will be away as well and there will not be a replacement sifu teaching since both mua and a fren won't be around.. (our attendance record is top notch..hehehhe.. ) . We also swapped JC duty weeks with the other two teams and will replace at the end of the month.
Two of my cell members will b driving. Please keep us in prayers. We will be having our cell cum service meeting in Awana.

J&J and Shell
Johnson & Johnson (J&J)
Today, 17th of October 2005, I made a trip to J&J again for my second interview. I'm employed! :) hehehe. The first interview was with my-soon-to-be direct boss. Today's was with both my soon-to-be-direct boss and and soon-to-be-indirect boss. Indirect boss is a Japanese lady. Didn't get to meet her face to face. The interview was conducted the 'teleconference' way. Quite fun :) hehehe. The position I'm hired for is known as Contract Analyst. It's a new position. The job invovles sourcing for raw materials for the J&J all over Asia. Besides sourcing, my soon to be job also involves analysing data, a lil' liasion with suppliers from different countries...hehehe..etc etc etc.
I'll be signing the contract with J&J within this week or latest by next week. Will start work on the 2nd week of November.
Shell
In the evening today, I received a phone call from Shell. Called up to arrange for an interview! hahahaha.. oh! It'll be a telephone interview. This Wednesday, 8:30AM. This telephone interview is equivalent to a face-to-face interview.
I don't know what position will I be in for yet.
You know, I've not thought of giving Shell a try before. I applied for Shell online..just for the fun of it. Not knowing that they will call. hahahahaha..anyways.. will be giving the interview a shot.. and see how it goes.
ah.. I think I'll still end up with J&J.. (which I seriously seriously don't mind) hehhe..unless.. God plans otherwise.. Pray along with me if you have the time K..hehehhe

Entry for 15th October 2005, Saturday.
I regretted something I've done....oh.. maybe it's actually that I've regretted something that I've not done.
haih..
Anyways, today was a VERY VERY long day. Today is June & Mun Hao's wedding. Yay!! clap!! clap!! Congratulations and celebration..lalalalala..
recap:
woke up early this morning, at around 8:30AM. Bathed, changed, etc..etc... took hold of my guitar, went into the car and drove to GT in Jalan Gasing (not the one in section 13) for June & Mun Hao's wedding reception..uhm..ceremony. Had to be there by 10:30AM cuz I was supposed to be handling the LCD...so had to run through everything with the worship team to avoid mistakes. The wedding reception started at 11:30AM went on till 12:40PM..then we proceeded for lunch.. till about 1:30PM. Took photo with the bride. MK and I left for GT in Section 13 for guitar class at around 1:40PM. Reached GT section 13 at around 2:00PM. Class went on till 3.00PM today. MK and I left church at around 3:15PM.. reached Mee Keng's place at around 4:00PM. I left her place and reached home at around 4:20PM. Took a lil' rest. Very Little Rest. 4:50PM.. I took bath, changed, and got ready to go out for the wedding dinner in Sheraton Imperial in KL. I left my place at about 5:50PM and reached Mee Keng's place at about 6:10PM. Mee Keng drove ...carpool mar.. Mee Keng had to be there slightly earlier. Dinner starts at 7:30PM. Off we went.. traffic jams, wrong turns.. heheheh.. we made it in time. 7:15PM. The whole thing actually started at 8:00PM and went straight on till 11:00PM.. (tat's cuz we had to make a move earlier.. need to be in church early on Sunday). Reached back home at around 12 ++..AM.
Wedding Dinner.. there was about 3 tables full just for us ..haha.. JC peeps. Our team was seated at the same table..lemme see.. Cindy, Simone, I, Mee Keng, Juliet, Angie, Josias, Felicia, Alvin and Ps Raymond. .. and yes....dinner was filled with laughter. hehehe...I shall not elaborate or point out the topics that we were laughing about... :P
Ahh.. long day.. but it was a fun filled day. Minus the point of regret. hmm..If Only..

Johnson & Johnson called again. This time, asking me to go back for a 2nd Interview :) The 2nd Interview is next Monday, 17th of October 2005. Hmm.. I somehow foresee that the 2nd interview would be quite stressful. hmm.. may God's will be done. :P

Matters..
Matters of the hair..
I woke up this morning, and my hair is still short. very short. aiks~ hmm.. so much for not having to spend too much time on my hair. The whole purpose of cutting my hair shorter in the first place is so that I don't have to spend time on my hair. Now, I'll have to style it, blow-dry it, comb it. Aiks~
Still haven't figured out how to get the best look out of my new hairstyle yet. Quite a dilemma. Having to look neat and pretty. Bwahahahhaaha..
I think I really dread the new hairdo. But since there's nothing I can do about it, Lord, pls grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Hehehehehe.
On the brighter note, when my hair grows longer .. it'll look pretty good. Hehehe.

Had an interview with Johnson & Johnson in the afternoon. It went pretty OK. The company is good. The downside to it is that, it's on a contract basis. Hmmm..? Contract Analyst for Purchasing. I'll go into details of the job some other time.

Stranger In The Mirror
It was 3:40PM. I looked into the mirror and I don't recognize the image. I had a RM 60 haircut today. Now, my hair is short. WAIT! Shorter than short. My hair has never been so short till today and I've never spent RM60 just on haircut before. The most expensive haircut I ever had is probably about RM30. I'm feeling just OK with the hairdo. Maybe I'm not used to it. Hmm..
I sat down on the chair in the saloon, the hairstylist came. I said I want something short. He asked "boy cut?" I said "nope. not too short". He went "ok, I'll give u a medium length cut." Before I let out the second breath, "snip, snap, snip" My long hair is now gone. I looked in a blurred vision (didn't haf my specs on) .. my hair is now Really Short.
Hahahahaha... besides having hair that looks shorter, it's pretty much neater now. hehehe...
Am gonna get used to it. hahaha...I hope. Hahahhaa... Oh no..! hahhaha.

Play Back
October
It's been a few days since I blogged. It's already October now. How time flies. I've been thinking about calling it quits from the bloggin world. Ahh.. but NOT YET. hehehehe. Quite a number of things has happenned these few days. Some fun-filled, some overflowed with laughter, some filled with smiles and some that brought a tear or two. Doubt I'll go into details..but here's a recap for the past 4 days..or so..hehehe..
Saturday
JC had a trip to FRIM and a movie. Only for JC workers. Teachers and Helpers that is. Ahh.. but I couldn't join them and neither could a few others. I had guitar class, which I wouldn't wanna miss. And the few others either have guitar class as well or they had to attend a wedding reception.
Guitar class!!! :) This class was pretty much a theory class. Well, it was necessary. Especially for a person like me that has a 0% background in music. I now have a clearer picture on certain things. Every week in class, besides the guitar lessons there's bound to be a few good laughters. Many of which came from the mistakes we would make in class. hahahahhaa
Besides guitar class, I stayed back on till the evening to help my mom to prepare the communion. It was the first Saturday and Sunday mar. Communion.
You bet I was dead-tired when I reached home.
Sunday
No JC duty. Was in service. Jamie, ex-CFer, my brother's batch. Some of you might know her. She joined us for service. Went out for lunch with cell cum JC frends and Jamie and Thomas.. in PJ State.
Also bumped into seconday school frends during lunch. Had quite a chat.
Went to Glad Sounds to get some pressies for cell member's bday. And as many of ya would have known by now, I'm no good at all in these gifts business. Bumped into Jon there. Which is a good thing cuz he gave an idea or two on what to get.

Dad went on a business trip to Brunei.
Mum and I went to SJMC to visit Jeremy (Jon and Joann's lil brother) who has been in the hospital for days. He's recovering, his condition has stabilised. As I look back, from the time frame where I was first notified bout Jeremy's condition, from literally fighting for his life till his now stabilised condtion, I am once again in awe of God's grace and mercy.
