Days Such As These..

I've been feeling really really cracko and emo for days .. can't really pinpoint why, but I guess it's due to the situation where I'm waiting for my results to be released which I'm not really sure if I really want it to be released or not cuz, I'm not really sure if it'll help in my job application or not and, at the same time, I'm waiting anxiously for the reply from the company I mentioned not too long ago. I'll wait another week, if there's no reply then that's it..just gotta move on! I'm waiting anxiously for the reply..but I'm also waiting patiently for God's response in terms of my carreer. Anxiously and patiently <-- I have no idea how the both comes together..but weirdly it does. Weird huh..but it happens.

God's response?

hmm..in terms of this particular job.. God has been pretty quiet. Oh well, it seems that God really does have His reason on why He's keeping quiet cuz He kinda revealed to my dad a verse..which I can't recall now. How long more? What's next?

Daddy and Mummy. Among the many many many many many (beyond measure) good things bout my parents that I really really thank God for is that they are a really supportive and most importantly very prayerful. They have been a great source of encouragement each and everytime I find myself in trouble. hehehehe..

Been following the series faithfully (hehehehe) as faithful as I follow the CSI, CSI Miami and CSI NY series...urm..Desperate Housewives too.. hehehehe (hehehe..watching TV is so fun..how could anyone not like watching TV?) About Lost!

Of Airport and Stuffs..

Went to the airport on Sunday nite to send Tze off ..back to the States. Met up wif Raymond Poh at the airport too. He just came back from Australia. Just touched down actually when we met up wif him in KLIA. Oh and eric lim called back from Aust as well. All of us there spoke to him on da phone.. hahahaha..the call came when we were still at the airport. SO LONG LAR his call.. hahahha.. hebat lar tat fella..normally if Jason calls back from UK..the longest before any of us would hang up is bout 30 minutes.. cuz the phone will be very hot..and ears burned. I really take my hats off John gan and Eric Lim.hahaha

of cuz wif loo yee around.. laughter is definitely present.

Can see myself travelling to KLIA a few times this week and probably two weeks later. Sending and Picking.

Pre-Visit to the Mechanic

Thank God for HIS hand of protection. Y? Cuz I could have been in a case where my car break wouldn't work and would have probably crashed the car or something.

Notice the indicator that lights up when ur handbreak is up? yeah. For weeks, the indicator has been lighting up even when the handbreak is down. It happenned to my dad's car not too long ago and the mechanic said that it's cuz the oil for the handbreak is almost gone. But it's no big deal. SO when it happenned to my car, I thought that it must be the same thing.. until my dad took the car to the mechanic. The mechanic said that it's a good thing that we finally brought the car in cuz any later it would have been really risky. The problem? The pump for the break was leaking..something like that lar. The risk? Break won't 'makan'.

Which reminds me not too long ago when I was on my way to pick ah Yee up. I almost knocked into a BMW. I thought it was because the road was slippery since it was after a heavy rain. Hmm.. I guess that wasn't the real cause. Must be the break pump thing.

None of us actually felt any difference in the car before the case was made known to us. So..hehe..thank God for everything.

Post-College life

It's excellent!! No studies. No assignments. No projects. No tests. No exams.

I like it now cuz there's none of the above. BUT then I also do miss the lepak part. Haven't been out since exam ended yet. Headaches and stuffs.

This is a transition period which is uhm..bitter-sweet. It's bitter cuz I'll still be figuring out my results. Sweet cuz I can do anything legal and right under da sun.

Pre-Work life

I have a resume to write. I need to go get a shot of a passport size pic. I need to go get testimonials from some lovely lovely people out there. *smirk*. I need to go get clothes, shoes for interview to come and for graduation.

Need to get the car to the mechanics soon. To have it re-sprayed. Have the dents knocked back out...and have everything that's not in place fixed back. Silent every bit of noise that isn't suppose to be there in the first place. Ahh..

That's what I'm enjoying now. That's also what the government declared for Port Klang and Kuala Selangor. My dad's working in Port Klang. Do pray along for his health..as u know..the haze and stuff could actually cause extra irritation to his eyes..and his overall health. Pray for all the employees that would still have to work despite the haze condition.

Yup..started on Wednesday afternoon up till now. I was out on Wednesday..to college...I came back..and the headache caught me. I think MIGHT be due to the haze. Partially. It's a bit better now that's y I'm bloggin. Gonna sleep before it gets back.

H stands for Health

hehehe.. might wanna consider doing some if not all of these stuffs listed below. This is again, something I ripped off from someone's brains. My Kor-Kor's.

1. Drink lots of water. Soak yourself if you have to. Alternatively, you can connect a hose to your water tap.
2. Stay indoor. Don't go out unless you have to.For lunch and dinner, there's always delivery (McD,Domino,Pizza Hut).
3. Wear mask. Not the facial type.
   
4. Don't wear contact lens. Probable substitute include spectacles. Goggles should work better.
5. Bathe often to avoid skin irritation ... and B.O too.
6. Pray for rain. Not only in Malaysia, but also in Indonesia.

In church today..

Was in church from 12:00pm up till 3:00pm today. Was there early cuz my mom needed to prepare the communion for today's GTYAC and tomoro's service. Was extra early cuz the Healing Rooms ministry requested to have communion as well today. So I sent mum to church..then helped her get the stuffs ready.. then I went for guitar lessons.. which was, of cuz, definitely interesting. We started learning plucking last class..so we continued on today..along wif some new chords and songs. Interesting. I came back home then left for church at 6:00pm to pick mum up.

Job?

I spotted an ad in the newspaper today. oh wait. Actually my dad spotted it. uhmm..the job is something I would like..the atmosphere the job..stuffs like tat. Oh.. I wouldnt know if I'll still like the job once I'm in it..but as for now..I think I'll like it. Do pray for me. I'm sending in my resume. You see the thing is, it is required for me to attach my tertiary qualifications along wif my resume. the problem? the last day for resumes to go in is by 20th August 2005... but my results won't be out so soon. So, I'm praying that although there is no final copy of my tertiary qualifications..they will still look into my resume and take it into consideration. hehe..so wat's the job..hahaha..not telling yet. hehehehe..

Ten Commandments

Here is a way that children as well as adults can learn the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17), using our ten fingers.

Start with your hands together in prayer. This reminds us that God heard the prayers of the Hebrew people when they were in slavery in Egypt and freed them (Exodus 3:7, 20:2). The commandments are a way for us to show our gratitude for God’s love in our lives.

1. “I am the Lord your God; you shall have no other gods before me.” Hold up one index finger for the number one. We worship one God.

2. “You shall not worship idols.” (Idols, false gods, are not only things like statues, but anything we place our ultimate trust and allegiance in, for example money or possessions.) Hold up two fingers. Should we worship more than one God? No, two is too many! One of them must be an idol, and we should not worship it!

3. “You shall not take the Lord’s name in vain.” Use three fingers to form the letter “W” which stands for “words.” Watch your words! God wants us to use his name in loving, caring ways, as we pray and as we talk about him, not in swearing or in anger.

4. “Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.” Hold up four fingers, fold your thumb under to let it rest. The thumb has the right idea. It’s the Sabbath, and the thumb is following the commandment to take a day of rest.

5. “Honor your father and your mother.” Hold up all five fingers on one hand as if you are taking a pledge, to honor your parents.

6. You shall not kill. Pretend the index finger on your second hand is a gun, shooting at the first five fingers. God’s sixth commandment teaches us not to do what has become too commonplace in our society.

7. You shall not commit adultery. Hold one hand out flat. The five fingers and hand become the floor of the church. Two fingers on the other hand are the man and woman to be married, standing in the church, making promises to each other. This commandment calls for couples to keep the marriage promises they make.

8. You shall not steal. Hold up four fingers on each hand, for the eighth commandment. If you stretch out your fingers slightly, these become the prison bars, which hold someone who was been arrested for stealing.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Hold up all five fingers on one hand and four on the other. Fold your second thumb under and turn your hand around, so the thumb is hiding. It is secretly going around telling the other four fingers on that hand, lies and rumors about the five fingers on the other hand. It is “bearing false witness,” as it talks behind people’s backs, spreading gossip, criticizing others without talking directly to the people involved.

10. Do not covet what belongs to your neighbor. Hold out your hands, palms up, and wiggle all ten fingers to show that they’ve got the “gimmies.” Your fingers are saying, “Gimmie what belongs to my neighbor. I want all those things my neighbor has.” This is not the way God wants us to live.

Blogging..

It seems that the power of influence is truly great. I started bloggin shortly after Terry introduced his blogsite. BUT it wasn't immediately that I got attracted to bloggin. I never understood why people like bloggin so much. Just couldn't comprehend. Until..I finally decided to start a blog on my own. I started of with Xanga on the 15th of August 2004. Been bloggin with Xanga unti l the 2nd of August 2005 then I made the switch to my current blog with Blogspot. I've numerous posts back in my Xanga blog which contains bitter sweet memories and I believe as I continue to blog wif Blogspot, and as my posts accumulates, one day, as I look back, I'll laugh at certains things that has happenend, I'll be blessed seeing that God has brought me through lotsa things, and I'll learn from mistakes..from bitter memories.. and smile my way off with sweet memories.

So..why else is the power of influence great? Because, it seems that more and more people has started bloggin... hmm I guess that somehow, in one way on another, each and every blogger has got influenced by an existing blogger.. haha.. I don't know. Is that true? Or was it just out of curiousty?

Now..there's only loo yee to go. eh..when r ya gonna start bloggin lar.. hahaha..

Blur

That word summarises my whole week. Blur. This week has been extraodinary. I've been really really really sleepy most of the time, hungry most of the time, and lazy most of the time. I know that the same things happen everyday..but this was VERY different. I was extra extra tired, sleepy, lazy. EXTRA. Double or Triple the regular dosage :P

Apart from all that, the worst this week is.. being extra blur! For instance, I was on MSN, and supposingly I am suppose to msg Nes but instead and I replied Seng Yee's msg..thinking that I'm actually initiating the msg to Nes. AND..that's not the end of it yet. I didn't realise I was msn'ing Seng Yee after about a few 'Enter/Return/Click'. Only after the numbers of lines that I've sent through did I realise that I was actually msn'ing Seng Yee and not Nes.

Besides that, as I was driving from Sunway heading to Parade, as all of ya should know by know that it is not possible to make a 3 o'clock at the summit roundabout anymore. I knew it too. All along. Everyday. Since the day the roundabout was closed that way. But somehow..today.. it just slipped my mind..and I was driving along that way thinking that I can make the 3 o'clock turn to get to parade. Thanks to a friend of mine in the car..I avoided that mistake. If she didn't stop me in time and reminded me.. I'll would have spent quite an amount of time in the jam on the road leading to summit!

And, today after cell, I was talking to a cell member who also happens to be in the same guitar class as mua..she missed the class last Saturday..so I was telling her what we did. So..I was actually explaining to her bout plucking..I was talking talking talking..and then..I realised that instead of saying the word plucking, I was using the word strumming throughout the whole time! urgh!

ah.. and the list of blur cases goes on. Trust me. It does. And it's a long long list.

Supply Chain Coursework Marks

Nope I'm not going to announce my marks on my blog. But the whole purpose of this is to give back all the glory and the praises back to God. For indeed with Him all things are possible.

Nope I did not top the class. Neither did I do very badly. I did average. Am really pleased this time cuz, I did quite well. At least to me it is. I'm glad. :P

My Heart Was On the Floor of the Classroom..

..yeah..serious. not literally but my heart really sunk to the bottom of feet..out ..and onto the classroom floor. All this cuz of the piece of news I heard. I heard from my classmates saying that one of our SOCIT lecturer mentioned that someone from our class..failed the double module project. To make it worst, he specifically mentioned that it's a SHE. So..there's less than 10 girls in our class..so..every girl was worried sick until...KC... after taking his own sweet time..he said that, the lecturer mentioned that the project that failed is a web-based system! phew..mine's a stand alone system. However..the results are not finalised yet. So I still wouldn't know. Ahh..

What's Next?

Final Exam

My finals is on the 10th of August, Wednesday. Only a few days away. Nope haven't really read my notes and textbook yet. Dreading it in fact. And I'm sleepy most of the time..if I'm not..I'll be hungry most of the time. But it'll be my final final final finals. So I'll definitely be studying hard..somehow..someway..hehehe..

DMP and Final Exam Results

This is sickening...... for the past 11 semesters..each time exams are over..I'll be worried bout my results..regardless of whether I did well or not. Guess what.. the 12th semester now..and the situation remains.

What's worst? DMP. Even before DMP actually started..the stress settles in bit by bit, then when DMP started..the stress was overwhelming..now that it's over..I worry bout the results..

ARgh.. yeah I know.. let tommorow worry about itself.. i'm trying! i'm trying!

urmh.. I'll definitely without a doubt would love a break before work..but if the opportunity comes along..I'll grab it. Where, What, When..uhm..questions like that regarding work is still under study..hahaha.. really.

I don't wanna go into any hardcore IT line cuz I know I won't do well and I don't like it. What I like to do..would I guess remain as a DREAM...and that's about it.

Ah..I haven't even started writing a very nice resume yet!

Nopes..not mine. Yesterday was Teng's bday, Today is David Lee's bday, Tomoro is Jo-An's bday..then it will be followed by Tze's bday..and on the 27th of June the next year..would be my birthday!
